Palm Phones

Today people will no longer settle for ordinary when it comes to their choice of cell phone.  To the contrary, these days it is all about high tech gadget style phones.  A Palm Phone falls into that category of phones existing within the upper echelon of the cellular phone food chain.  The question is what do you do when you want a Palm Phone but can’t afford to pay a whole ton of cash for one.

As money gets tighter, the desire to be flashy and have the latest gadgets unfortunately doesn’t fade correspondingly.  Thankfully a new Palm Phone has come along; the palm pixi is an entry level palm phone that has only been around for a few months, yet it’s already making waves.  While there are some things that aren’t offered, on the whole you’ll find that all the basic functions you’d need a Palm Phone for, the Palm Pixi is ready to meet that need.

With the Palm Pixi you’ll be able to send and receive your e-mails, you’ll have your keyboard that makes it easier to send text messages, and of course there will still be the cool screen.  But then you won’t be able to use it like an MP3 player or get that pocket version of Microsoft Office or even the touchscreen…but hey, you can’t have everything.  In my humble opinion, the Palm Pixi is a Palm Phone definitely worth checking out.

In the age of technology, most people have heard of a palm phone.  Those little gadgets that act as both phone and keep-your-life-together devices are more popular than time spent alone these days.  And even though I am a fan of all the different varieties of palm phones out there, I still say you should be careful.

Yes, I’m saying that a palm phone is wonderful, but up to a point.  And the point is the one where you begin forsaking regular human connection and communication over use of your digital device.  A phone or personal organizer is an excellent way to stay on top of the details of your life, but you should never become obsessed with it. 

The palm phone should be an addition to your life, not a replacement to living one.  Take the time to talk to your loved ones in person, not just on the phone.  Schedule a face to face meeting instead of using your palm phone to send and instant message or email.  Let technology, like the palm phone, help you, not hurt you.

If you can be responsible with your palm phone then you should go out and buy the one which fits your needs.  So long as you don’t think your phone can replace true human connection.
